The latest news from Botanical Place
Site update

We’re excited to share an update on the ongoing progress across the site, with noticeable advancements in every building.

At Bergamot House and Juniper House, the external brickwork is now finished, and scaffolding is being removed from all sides. Inside, we're making great strides with carpentry, flooring, and electrical installations.

At Cassia House and Tea Tree House, the external brickwork is progressing smoothly. Meanwhile, Copper Pot House, at the heart of the development, is shifting focus to the interior, with amenity spaces starting to take shape.

2024 Christmas Fair

West Byfleet’s Christmas Fair was a resounding success, even if the weather didn't get the memo! Battling through what can only be described as ‘umbrella-inverting’ conditions, the community turned out in force to celebrate the festive season.

Terry Unitt, Senior project Manager at Thrive Living by Retirement Villages gave a heartfelt speech, highlighting the importance of community spirit. Terry expressed gratitude for the local community's invaluable contributions to Botanical Place initiatives throughout the year, reminding everyone of the unique community that is West Byfleet.

Former ward councillor Steve Dorsett, donned his now-iconic Father Christmas suit, to spread joy and laughter among children and big kids alike! A frequent and enthusiastic supporter of West Byfleet events, it was great to see Steve spreading the Christmas cheer once again!

Despite the weather’s best attempts to dampen spirits, the event was a triumph. A huge round of applause goes to everyone who helped organise the fair—we can’t wait to see what next year has in store.
