Amanda’s role at Botanical Place
Amanda joined Botanical Place at a pivotal moment as the community prepares to open fully, with state-of-the-art facilities and a focus on independence and connection.
“This is a really exciting time for the team,” Amanda says. “The potential residents we’ve met so far have been so enthusiastic about the concept, and I look forward to welcoming many new homeowners to this fabulous community.”
Her role involves guiding potential residents through the process of exploring what Botanical Place can offer, from lifestyle benefits to the beautifully designed apartments. For Amanda, it’s about making the experience as welcoming and supportive as possible for everyone she meets.

What Brought Amanda to Botanical Place?
Amanda has been part of the Retirement Villages Group (RVG) for seven years, with previous roles at Charters Village and Gradwell Park. Before joining RVG, she worked in the NHS at a hospital in Sussex.
Her transition into the retirement living sector came from a unique combination of interests. After building her own home, Amanda developed a fascination with property development, which she blended with her passion for helping others by moving into the retirement living industry.
She’s also driven by a personal commitment to combatting loneliness in later life. “Since COVID, loneliness in the retirement sector has become quite prevalent,” Amanda explains. “As someone from a large family, I understand how valuable it is to have a strong community, especially when family isn’t nearby.”
It’s about giving people their independence back and helping them see how vibrant and fulfilling retirement living can be.
What Amanda loves most about her role
For Amanda, the most fulfilling part of her work is showing people how retirement living can give them independence and peace of mind.
“I love explaining how we can resolve concerns, whether it’s about maintenance or relying on younger family members,” she says. “It’s about giving people their independence back and helping them see how vibrant and fulfilling retirement living can be.”
Her empathetic and enthusiastic approach has helped many potential residents feel confident about making the move to a retirement community like Botanical Place.
Amanda’s thoughts on exploring Botanical Place
Amanda encourages anyone considering Botanical Place to take the time to explore everything the community has to offer. “It’s all about the lifestyle,” she shares. “The apartments and facilities speak for themselves, and there’s so much to enjoy here.”
Life Outside of Work
When she’s not helping future residents find their dream home, Amanda enjoys spending time in her garden, meeting friends and family, and making the most of her downtime.
Amanda and the team are here to help potential residents explore everything Botanical Place has to offer. From its expertly designed apartments to its inclusive, vibrant spaces, Botanical Place is redefining retirement living as independent, connected, and in control.
