Charters Village supports a marathon tradition

The management team at our newest village in West Sussex were delighted to be involved with one of the area’s longest standing and well attended events, the Lingfield Marathon Fun Run.

Charters Village, situated on Felcourt Road in between Lingfield and East Grinstead, was proud to sponsor the winners’ trophies for the event, which saw hundreds of people run, jog and walk a variety of courses around the local town.

Village Manager Usha Prasanna and Facilities Manager Anthea Call were both present on the day to present the winners with their prizes and talk with spectators and neighbouring stallholders.

Anthea said, “This sort of event really brings everyone together in the local community and we were glad to be part of that atmosphere.

“All of the runners did brilliantly and helped to raise a lot of money for a number of deserving causes,” she added.

Just five of the 33 properties built as part of phase one for Charters Village are still available. Charters Court, a dedicated 60 bed nursing and residential home with day care facilities is also open on site.

The sales and marketing suite is open seven days week, between 10:30am and 5pm.
