Area’s newest nursing home to be officially opened by MP

WOKING MP Jonathan Lord is to officially open the area’s newest nursing home.

 

The launch party for The Grange, a boutique nine bed nursing home at Mayford Grange retirement village, Mayford, near Woking, will be attended by invited guests and the first residents of the home. Mr Lord will be unveiling a plaque to mark the occasion.

 

The Grange is the newest addition to the established village which has 42 one and two bedroom apartments and a number of communal facilities.

 

The first residents have already moved into the home which retains exclusive facilities as well as enjoying being part of the village community. A team of staff including nurses, carers and support staff are on hand 24 hours a day, overseen by Village Manager Gillian Hudson.

 

Paul Walsh is the Managing Director of Care and Operations for Retirement Villages Ltd. He said: “We are very much looking forward to celebrating the official opening of The Grange which introduces a new tier of living options for those keen to enjoy the lifestyle and surroundings on offer at Mayford Grange but requiring specialist care.”

 

The Grange is registered with the Care Quality Commission.
