We understand that, before making the move into one of our communities, you want to be sure that it’s right for you.
That’s where our Open Days are great! They give you the chance to experience the community you’re interested in first hand. You can get a feel for the atmosphere, see what daily life looks like and meet the community team and friendly residents.
These are designed to simply be taster sessions - it’s just as important to us that you only choose a community that feels like home. You can visit as many of our Open Days across as many of our UK communities as you like.
It’s a pressure-free opportunity to see if it’s the right fit for you. Our team is simply there to show you around, answer any questions you might have, and let you take a look inside a property or two if you’re interested.
Our Open Days at a glance…
Depending on which community you visit, the Open Days may look a little different. But here’s a general idea of what you can expect:
When you arrive…
You’ll be greeted by our friendly team and have an opportunity to settle in before we get started.
One-on-one tour…
A member of our team will take you on an easy, one-on-one tour of the grounds and facilities. You’ll get a chance to see residents going about their daily lives - this is a useful way to experience what living here would look like.
And if you’ve seen any properties for sale or to rent online, you can ask to take a look around them.
It’s really all about trying the community on for size and seeing if it fits - take your time and ask any question you might have as you explore.

Join us for a coffee and cake where you can sit back, relax, and chat with other visitors, staff, and often, our residents.
This is a wonderful time to hear first-hand from residents about their experiences and ask them what it’s like living in the community.
Time to ask questions…
There will be plenty of time for any last questions before you leave.
Our team will be on hand to provide additional information about properties, services, and the next steps, so you can leave feeling like you have everything you need to make the right decision for you.

You’ll receive a one-on-one tour with a member of our lovely team who will guide you through the village, answer your questions, and help you understand the various living options available. Our team are experts in their respective communities, so you can really ask them anything.
Our Open Days are designed to be as tailored as possible to your individual needs. If you’re more of a fact-finder, we’ll give you all the information you need to explore your options. If you’re ready to take the next step, we’ll be there to guide you through that too, answering any questions you might have, from tenure options to process for moving in.
The heart of our communities: a supportive and welcoming environment
One of the most common things our residents tell us is how much they appreciate the sense of community in our villages.
At our Open Days, you’ll meet current residents who can share their stories about living here. Many of them have been in the same position you’re in now - wondering if a retirement village is the right choice - so there’s no one better to ask!

Yes, you’ll need to book as there’s always a limited number of spaces at our Open Days. You can book by selecting the right Open Day event for you here, then completing the form at the bottom of the page.

Of course!
Whether you want to bring the person you’ll be moving with, a family member, or a friend, simply let us know when you book that you’re bringing someone along and we’ll save them a space.
You certainly can - we’re proud to boast that all of our retirement communities are pet friendly. So why not bring them along to see if they like the community too? After all, it’s going to be as much their home as yours.
Just be mindful that your pet might not be allowed everywhere in the grounds. For example, some of our clubhouses are pet free.
Typically, our Open Days run from 10am until 2pm. However, this may vary from event to event. When you book, you’ll be sent comprehensive information about timings for the specific Open Day you’ll be attending.
We’d love that! Our communities are always a hive of activity, from boules on the lawn to a game of bridge. If you spot any activities you’d like to join, you are more than welcome.
