At Moat Park, there is a village minibus service on offer for residents to take them into nearby Great Dunmow to do their shopping.
Also nearby is Great Easton which houses a village hall with an active social calendar including regular W.I meetings as well as visits from a mobile library. The nearest church, St John and St Giles Church is also in Great Easton.

You’re spoilt for choice for larger towns and cities if you want to shop, visit the theatre or stroll around an exhibition. The towns of Bishop Stopford, Harlow and Chelmsford are all in easy reach from the village and London and Colchester are less than an hour, making them easy to reach destinations for an afternoon out.

For nature lovers, the village is just a 15-minute drive to National Trust site, Hatfield Forest. There is also The Forgotten Gardens of Easton Lodge, Audley End House and Gardens and Thorndon Country Park.
For those who like to slow down the pace, there’s plenty of golf courses in this area, such as Great Hadham, Canons Brook, Cambridge Lakes and Lee Valley.

From Moat Park it’s incredibly easy to travel to the rest of the country. Head into London, up to Suffolk, Norfolk, and the coast easily too.
Moat Park sits in a beautiful countryside location yet enjoys easy access to road networks, with the A120 giving easy access to the M11 and London Stansted Airport, which is just an 11-minute drive from the village.
From nearby Stansted Airport you can also join rail links which will take you into London in under an hour.
